Look who's at Pop-up!
Meet the staff who run the pop-up libraries! They answered the following 'getting to know you' questions.
- What is your favourite book/author?
- Where is your favourite place to read?
- What are you currently reading, watching and listening to?
- What is your favourite service(s) that the Region of Waterloo Library offers and why?
Meredith - Breslau Community Centre and Clyde & Scotts Women's Institute Hall
- My current favourite children's author is Oliver Jeffers but there are so many great authors so I can't narrow one down! My favourite adult author is Umberto Eco.
- My favourite place to read is on my deck or in the garden.
- I'm currently reading Barbara Gowdy's Little Sister, as well as Hark a Vagrant by Kate Beaton. I'm watching Game of Thrones because I figure I should see what all the fuss is about.
- Obviously, my favourite service we offer is pop-up! I also love all the accessible items we offer like eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and music, etc. I've been exploring Hoopla lately.
Erin - St. Agatha Community Centre & Hawkesville Community Centre
- All time favourite author is Phoebe Gilman!
- On the couch with a hot drink beside me.
- I am currently reading Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth. I've just started to watch the new Star Trek Discovery and I heard it was renewed for another season! Currently listening to "Feel It Still" by Portugal, although I also love Dunez's version of "I'm a Rebel Just for Kicks".
- I just discovered Mango Languages on our website! I'm hoping to use it to learn more Arabic and maybe a little French.
Stop by and say hello to Meredith and Erin!
