Holiday Hours at the Library

Want to visit the library over the holiday week? Here is when our library branches are open and closed:
Monday, Dec. 24 - Wednesday, Dec. 26: Closed
Thursday, Dec. 27 - Saturday, Dec. 29: Open regular library hours
Sunday, Dec. 30 - Tuesday, Jan. 1: Closed
Wednesday, Jan. 2: Open regular library hours

Borrow the Internet at Region of Waterloo Library

Beginning October 17th, Region of Waterloo Library (RWL) cardholders can borrow hotspots that give access to the Internet anywhere in Canada.
These wireless devices, called “hotspots”, enable users to connect laptops and other electronic devices to the Internet.  Hotspots will be available at any RWL service location, and any adult cardholder may borrow one.

Food for Fines 2018

Food for Fines is back! During Ontario Public Library Week, Oct. 16 to 20, use non-perishable (dry or canned) food items to pay off overdue fines. Each non-perishable food item is worth $2 in overdue fines. Food can only be used to pay overdue fines and not lost/damaged items, printing/photocopying or other fees. Food will be donated to local food banks. Call your local library branch or Library Headquarters at 519-575-4590 or e-mail libhq@regionofwaterloo.ca for more details.
